| Wednesday traded like Tuesday, starting with a selloff in the opening minutes followed by a sideways consolidation for the rest of the day. Support levels are holding but the bears are pounding on them like a bear pounding on a dumpster to get it open, and both sides are nervously watching to see what tomorrow will bring.

| Comments from a Chinese central bank governor warning that the country needs to be vigilant for the signs of deflation helped to cause a huge short squeeze. The comments suggest the PBoC may be moving closer to another stimulus program to match the programs in Japan and Europe. With currencies falling everywhere except the U.S. the PBoC will have to do something to make their currency competitive or face a slowdown in exports.
